Water hygiene specialists for the
Care Sector

While anyone could become infected with legionnaires’ disease some identified groups are more susceptible and at higher risk of infection. These include the elderly and people with a range of existing underlying health conditions.

We understand the importance for the care sector to act and put in place robust management systems and practical solutions to protect anyone in their care who may be at risk from this preventable disease.

We work with many care homes, hospitals, and primary care settings and have built up a wealth of experience in how best to overcome the challenges presented in a healthcare environment and most importantly to ensure the impact on service users, patients, and staff is as low as possible.

The use of water in the care sector is wide-ranging so we tailor our services to suit each situation offering all water hygiene services from legionella risk assessments, water tank cleaning, TMV servicing, showerhead cleaning to specific water treatment solutions including cooling tower treatment and the installation of chlorine dioxide units.

Cloud-based legionella logbook for the care sector

Using a cloud-based logbook is one of the best ways for the care sector to keep on top of all the legionella monitoring tasks which need to be performed. Dantek has developed an easy to use cloud-based system which we provide for free to all our contract customers. The system ensures all your data for legionella compliance is held in one place and can be reported on and scrutinised, so you know where any problems are and what you need to do to rectify them.
